I have spent the last seven years building myself, my business, and my constantly evolving goals. Somewhere along that timeline, I have grown into a brand strategist, event curator, CMO, and the owner of my company, Professionally, You.
I started Professionally, You in college with the mission of providing freelance creatives, start-ups, and organizations with the structural back-end & quality brand content they need to transform. I saw many young people going into business but weren't equipt with the resources needed to create a true brand.
Through my bachelor's studies in journalism and anthropology, I found that it was cultural and primarily affected minority communities. I wanted to change young people's perspective on what it meant to build a brand lead by creative strategies and innovative ideas. While building my own portfolio, I began looking for ways to grow a more extensive network, increase my skillset and gain new clients. I affiliated myself with networks of people who helped coach me and who gave me a platform to blossom into the person I am today.
After college, I began a career in tech at IBM while growing my business. As a media chairwoman in IBM's black business resource group, I began mentoring and became a certified mentor through IBM's mentorship program.

Now, Professionally, You has built an exceptional reputation around brand strategy and events, including conferences, fashion shows, networking events & workshops, while also supporting clients with graphic design, web & professional portfolio deck design. My team and I have worked with over 500 clients to curate events & other digital content. Professionally, You today has transitioned to a brand focused on sharing business-related resources, networking opportunities, curating events, and life/work balance products.

Helping others gain access to resources and information has always been at the forefront of my purpose. I have gone on particular routes that prepare me more every day to share information that help people step into their purpose! I use these avenues to equip entrepreneurs and women with the resources needed to develop as powerful and spiritually wealthy contributions to others & themselves.
Some of my most notable accomplishments include Co-Founding the D.R.E.A.M Conference, a 4-day series of events whose mission is to educate a community of dreamers through workshops and panel discussions. As well as joining the Board of Directors for the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce and becoming Head of Marketing for a multi-million dollar Tech company, Goodieboxx.
